International Education in Practice: Challenges and Solutions – March 7-8, 2025, Wrocław, Poland
The 2nd Forum of International Schools in Poland – International Education in Practice: Challenges and Solutions – was held on March 7-8, 2025, bringing together educators, school leaders, administrators, and policymakers who in the atmosphere of openness and collaboration discussed the evolving challenges and opportunities in international education. This two-day event focused on key themes such as fostering collaboration, transparent communication, and data-driven decision-making to enhance educational practices.
Attendees engaged in keynote speeches from leading experts, Ms Annie Vincent and Ms Caroline Greener of Cambridge Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring. They participated in roundtable discussions, and breakout sessions tailored to various education levels, from primary to secondary.
Topics includes streamlining grading practices, exam readiness, legal frameworks for international schools, cultural adaptation, and inclusive education strategies.
The program strongly emphasised practical solutions, such as managing predicted grades, supporting diverse learners, and addressing the wellbeing of students in multicultural environments.


The FSM Conference offers a unique platform to exchange ideas, network with peers, and explore strategies that prepare students for global pathways while addressing the distinct needs of international education in Poland.
Conference Development and Challenges of International Education in Poland
On May 20, 2024, the FIRST conference in POLAND will be held, the aim of which is to discuss the current legal status regarding international education, outline the facts and indicate challenges and possible regulations in the future.

The following thematic areas will be discussed during the conference:

– Legal basis and general situation of international education in Poland;
– Definition of an international school and kindergarten;
– Documentation of the course of teaching in international schools;
– Eighth-grade exam – a challenge for foreigners;
– Qualifications of teaching staff;
– Recruitment process for universities;
– International education in the economic and political context in Poland.
The participants of the event will be the Governing Bodies and Principals of primary and secondary schools that offer curricula approved by foreign international organizations. Representatives of preschool education will also take part in the conference.
